Ways to Jump Higher – The Shocking Truth

If you’re looking to learn how to increase vertical jump whether in basketball or some other sport, most coaches and athletes go about it the wrong way. This is what you need to know.. If you’ve been trying some new exercises or jumping programs to learn how to jump higher, most of what you’ve been doing has been marginal at best. There’s a good chance that you’ve been putting in a lot of pain, blood, sweat and tears into your efforts to learn how to jump higher… what are you seeing the results that you want?. I’m talking effort, I’m asking if you’ve seen dramatic changes in your vertical in the last few months. Have you?. In the last three months have you gotten anywhere close to adding a to 10 or even 12 inches to your vertical jump? Probably not. And I bet I know why you’re not making those kind of games… it’s because you’re making the same mistakes that everybody else out there is making. What we’re going to do with this article is take a look at the most likely reasons why you’re not getting the kind of results you expect even though you’re putting in a lot of hard, painful work.

There are a number of reasons why people don’t get the kind of results they want in their vertical jumping training efforts. One of the first things you need to realize is that when you ask yourself, “how can I jump higher”, the kind of training you should be doing is actually counterintuitive. The truth of the matter is that most jumping workouts information that athletes and coaches get or give out is simply not good information. Despite all good intentions, the problem usually comes from the root source of the information not being a true expert in knowing how to increase vertical jump. A lot of it is written from theory. Think about it this way; would you rather follow someone who’s been where you are and has gotten to where you want to get, or someone who simply thinks about the problem and suggests possible solutions to it?.

Another stumbling block that many people come across is a mixture of not enough knowledge about the techniques of executing the exercises used to increase vertical jump, as well as a lack of discipline that is necessary to achieve any such physically demanding role. Adding up all these various challenges it’s no surprise that many athletes don’t see the kind of results they want, and therefore get frustrated and become convinced that they’ll never be able to jump high and they end up giving up on their goals and dreams. It’s a simple fact that learning how to jump higher is going to take some serious effort and a lot of discipline on your part. But hard work alone won’t do it. If you’re doing the wrong exercises or using the wrong technique, results don’t come, frustration sets in, and you settle for your measly existing vertical jump.

There’s one recurring mistake that many people who are trying to learn how to jump higher make over and over, that’s basically that there approaching their training incorrectly. Most jumping programs have you working jump after jump after jump to the point of near exhaustion which creates endurance type of training. Vertical jumping is an explosive effort. Most jump training programs have you repeating many jumps one after another is definitely challenging, but it’s not necessarily getting you any closer to your goals. It’s not uncommon for an athlete to feel like they’ve accomplished something after jumping workouts simply because they have a quote felt the burn” in their legs. This really doesn’t necessarily mean anything.

Think of it like this: If you need to prepare for a timed 40 yard dash, are you going to spend the majority of your time running many miles every day instead of working on getting off the line quickly? Hopefully your answer is no I can pretty much promise you that you would not be happy with the results if your time is spent on endurance issues rather than explosive aspects of your sprinting. The thing is, when it comes to jumping higher, many athletes do focus on endurance rather than explosiveness.

And for those who do recognize that they need to train the explosive aspect of their muscles, they often only do so by attacking one or two components of that explosiveness. Using another analogy, this would be like trying to make a car go faster. You could put a bigger engine in a car if you want to make it go faster, right? But how do you think that would compare to a car that had a bigger engine, properly tuned transmission, better suspension, better tires, better aerodynamics, better fuel and a driver who is trained specifically how to make the most of that car. If you had to bet on one of those cars to win a race, which when you think you would be? It is no different when it comes to training for vertical jumping. If you’re looking to maximize your leaping abilities, you need to incorporate each and every aspect of proper job training, not just one or 2.

learning how to increase vertical jump is clearly a fairly involved process. There are a lot of offers out there from a lot of self-proclaimed gurus… be wary. Do your own due diligence before putting any money down for any kind of “how to jump high” program. Check to see if the author or coach has a successful track record. Check to see if they stand behind their product with a moneyback guarantee. After all, if they say they are expert in the can promise that you’re going to see some dramatic improvements, they should put their money where their mouth is and back it up with the guarantee.

If you’ve made it this far, you clearly have a lot to think about when it comes to figuring out how to jump higher. If you’re wondering where to go from here, I highly recommend you take a look at this product to learn how to dunk. Not only does it cover everything I’ve touched on above, but also many more critical bits that I didn’t have time to mention. And on top of that, it’s no small thing that the coach has a tremendous track record of helping people dramatically improve their vertical jump and he stands behind his product with 100%, 60 day money back guarantee.

So now it’s up to you. If you’ve been asking yourself “how can I jump higher”, you should now have a clearer understanding of what it’s going to take. If you’re willing to make the commitment, and you know it’s going to take a lot of hard work, congratulations. By following the path laid out by an expert who has traveled it many times with many different students (athletes), is no doubt you can achieve and exceed your greatest expectations in your efforts to learn how to jump higher. I wish you all the success in the world.

Jump Like Jacob Tucker – Getting a Better Vert Doesn’t Have to be Difficult

Last time we talked about how important getting your diet correct can be. Now you’re going to hear something that you won’t believe-it’s incredibly easy. No elaborate equipment required.
Now that really doesn’t make sense…
Not true, my friend. Think about it: Do you think Michael Jordan had all of the gidgets and complicated fads and so on available today? No.I doubt it. The talented guys don’t make it complicated. They just go about it the old-fashioned way: with practice and knowledge of correct principles.
Correct principles don’t have to be difficult.
They just have to be correct-based on scientific truth.
Strategy #6: Success doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, when it comes to your vertical, it’s astonishingly straightforward.
Too many programs out there make it sound like a lot more products and a lot more time needs to be invested than is really necessary. The truth is, you don’t need a weight room, you don’t need 0 a month on supplements, you don’t need platform shoes, and you don’t need a Jacuzzi (yes there are programs out there that say those are necessary). Those are nice supplemental things you can choose to add for your own personal pleasure, but the truth is, they’re not necessary.

          ]]>

? Why try and find your own way to dunking when others have paved the way for you and found the quickest, easiest way to success?
? Why spend a lot of money on things that don’t work? In today’s economy, the value of something that works right the first time is especially appreciated.
? Why look for something that is unusually ineffective, complicated, wordy, confusing, or full of hype when there is a pathway to success that is straightforward and inexpensive?
The truth is, no one has completed The Jump Manual and asked for a refund. It’s how we at the Vertical Jump Like a Pro Community can be so confident as to recommend this as the best vertical jump program for ANYONE.
That’s right: young or old, male or female, black, Asian, Hispanic or white this program is guaranteed to work for you. 10 inches, guaranteed.
This will also exponentially increase your quickness, speed, and mental edge over your competition-and much more.

Best Vertical Leap Jumping Program, Training, And Workout

Are you looking for the Best Vertical Leap Jumping Program, Training, And Workout? If you find the right program you can make amazing gains in improving your vertical leap. To find the best training there are a couple of things you need to consider to make sure you get the best program available.

What is the person’s qualifications that is running the program?

I recommend finding a person who has experience training high school, college, Olympians, and professional athletes. It is also good to see someone who actually has used their own program to improve their jumping.

How many testimonials do they have and do they look realistic?

When you go their website check how many testimonials they have. I personally like hearing what people have to say, because it easier to judge if they are telling you the truth. I also find videos to be a good resource, too.

          ]]>

How many inches are people improving their vertical jump?

The best programs available have their students improving their jump 10 to 12 inches which is very amazing. I would say improving your vertical leap by 6 inches is still a significant gain. Check out the websites testimonials to see how much improvement the customers have gotten from the training.

Are the workouts designed to improve your fast twitch muscles?

This is very important, because fast twitch muscles is what gives you your explosive power to be able to jump higher. If the workout is designed wrong it will not improve the maximum height you can jump it will only improve your endurance.

If you can find a program that meets all these requirements you definitely have found a winner. You will take your game to the next level once you add 12 inches to vertical leap.

There is only one program that I have found that meets all these criteria and has worked for many people including professional athletes. Click Here! To Get It The Best Vertical Leap Program Available!

Take your game to the next level!

How to Obtain a 40-plus Inch Vertical Jump

How to Obtain a 40-plus Inch Vertical Jump

Have you ever seen an athlete in basketball, football, or any sport for that matter, make an amazing, gravity-defying, play and thought to yourself I wish I could do that? If you have had that thought, you may very well be selling yourself short. One of the most common misconceptions about an athlete with a high vertical leap is that they were born with their athleticism, and it is all purely based on genetics. While some are born with the natural ability to jump higher than others, I assure you that many people you see that blow your mind away with their leaps are not and had to work for every inch of it. With a proper training program, diet, and work ethic, anyone can obtain jaw-dropping hops.

First of all you must have a proper vertical jump training program if you ever hope to see a sizable increase in your vertical leap. This MUST include workouts that increase your strength as well as workouts that increase speed and explosiveness. The basics of how high any person can jump are how much force they can exert upon the ground, and how quickly they can exert that force. To improve upon these two factors, one must combine the most effective aspects of weight training, resistance training, and plyometrics into a well structured routine. Although you can very easily put together a decent workout routine for yourself that will more than likely produce results, I would highly recommend that you pick up a professionally designed program from one of the vertical jump fields’ experts. These people have spent their entire lives researching how to add inches to the average persons’ vertical leap, and you will no doubt experience far greater gains by following their programs. Look into and read reviews of the top vertical jump programs before you make any decision and/or purchase.

          ]]>

Another major factor in determining how many inches you can add to your vertical jump is how healthy you are, and more specifically how healthy you eat. Unless you were lucky enough to be one of the small few who were born with the genetics for a giant vertical, you might as well start eating right now if you ever want to reach your goals. If you are packing a few extra pounds of fat that you don’t need lose them; this is only more weight you need to take up in the air with you. And it is well known that in order to maximize the potential of muscle training, you need to eat a healthy and protein rich diet. You may also consider using supplements, but that is up to individual discretion. If you do decide to supplement, make sure to do your research and get the right stuff.

One final and often overlooked variable in the equation of gaining vertical leap is work ethic. You have made it this far so you are clearly interested in the topic, and are very likely motivated, but can you keep it up? After six weeks of intense training will you still keep to your workouts and diet with equal enthusiasm? In order to maximize gains, your vertical jump program should be followed religiously, and all workouts and exercises performed correctly and with full effort. This will determine whether or not you achieve the amazing results you are looking for, or become one of the many who burn out and never reach their goal.

Obtaining a giant vertical leap of forty or more inches is not easy. Nothing worth having ever is. However I promise that if you follow a professionally constructed vertical jump program, eat correctly, and work hard consistently you will gain multiple inches on your vertical leap and eventually reach your goal, however many inches that may be.

Plyometrics Training In Vertical Jump Training – Should I Feel Sore?

Plyometrics training

It’s a question that trainers get all the time, and I think a lot of people are encountering the same type of question. It has to do with training your quickness and your reactive ability. A lot of people start a really good training regime-it’s going to include very high intensity events with low repetition; and we’re not talking weight training here, we’re talking plyometrics and quickness training.

What happens is, people do this training, and they have the right amount of volume, the right amount of repetitions, the right amount of intensity during each repetition. But because they don’t feel the burn, or the next day, they don’t feel extremely sore, they wonder if it’s doing them any good. And that’s a really, really great concern, because you don’t want to be putting in a lot of work like that and not be getting the results you’re expecting. So, sometimes it feels nice to feel the burn or the next day, to feel very sore, because it lets you know that you’ve worked hard.

          ]]>

What is DOMS?

Well, here’s the big difference between strength training and quickness training: strength training is also very important for building a solid vertical; but when it comes to strength training, you’re putting a whole lot more tension on each muscle fiber, which results in micro-tears, which are a good thing, and are going to result in increased strength. That is what causes what’s called DOMS, which is delayed onset muscle soreness. And that’s when you wake up the next morning, and you’re sore, or the next couple of days you’re pretty sore.

Doing this type of training, you should expect that you’re going to be sore-there are ways to minimize that and get a better recovery, but it’s very common to be sore, and usually that’s not a problem. With strength training, due to the tension you put on the muscle which creates micro-tears that recover and build strength-that is going to make you sore. And that’s going to hurt while you’re doing it, and it’s going to hurt the next day; and that’s fine.

However, with plyometrics and quickness training, you will feel warm, you will feel energetic–but don’t expect to feel sore, because it’s a different kind of training than with strength training.

By the way… are you a dedicated athlete with a desire to excel at your sport? would you like more tips on how to jump higher?
If you want to dominate your opponent like a real man in a basketball game, it is crucially important that you know how to increase your vertical jump. No pun intended, but adding hops into your game is one thing… but to dominate it with sheer strength and power… now that’s what a real man should do on court.

Some great dominant player we have on court today are Dwight Howard, LeBron James… and if you look back a few years ago, you will probably also realize that Vince Carter and Tracy Mcgrady posses some great and powerful dunks too.

Let us uncover these hardcore vertical jump workouts that adds great inches into your hops and at the same time, builds strength and power at your core, striking a balance between power and flair.

1) The Dead lift – Dead lifts is one of the most effective method in building and training the core muscles of your lower body. This workout routine strengthen your quadriceps and your gluteus muscles – the muscles that are responsible for more than 50% of your jump.

          ]]>

Yes, this is no workout for softies and if you are doing it rigorously and consistently, you will build a powerful body and at the same time, add some extra hops into your game.

Ever wonder why LeBron James or Dwight Howard’s dunk seems almost impossible to block?

One word – sheer power!

2) Full back squats – Full back squats is another killer workout to increase your vertical jump. This training targets your quadriceps and your hamstring muscles. The resistance of the weight load on your body also builds your overall physique, so that you become stronger and more powerful while improving your vertical leap.

Thus, if a 40 inch vertical leap is what you yearn for, you should never try to skip this training.

To achieve maximum hops in your vertical, you have to understand that power = strength x speed.

Full back squats adds massive strength into your lower body muscles… and the end result of your ability to jump higher after your training could be just as devastating.

3) Olympic Weight lifting – This one workout alone is going separate you from the rest of the crowd and put your vertical leap a notch above others.

In fact, the Olympic weight lifting workout is used by the NBA Superstar LeBron James… and if you have been paying attention to the news around the NBA, you know that LeBron has one of the sickest hops in basketball history.

This workout routine is so powerful because it actually builds your jumping power from your ankles all the way to your hip. The sudden jerking movement of the workout itself also helps to train your fast twitch muscles, thus, inserting both strength and speed into the workout.

The resistance from the weights itself further strengthen your leg muscles… making you one powerful mean jumping machine.

Jacob Hiller’s eBook has Workout Videos, a Workout Guide, Nutrition Guides, Tips on Recovery, as well as Bonus Interviews with Shooting Coach Dave Hopla, and Peak-Performance-psychologist Dr. Patrick Cohn, to help you with your progression to becoming a great dunker, but above all… an awesome all-rounded basketball player.

But what is also different from all the “other” vertical jump programs out there is that Jacob Hiller created a Forum for his clients to discuss with one-another about the things that helped them in their training, and that way they can all benefit from retelling some of their experiences. With that comes free online coaching for a month, one-on-one! It’s guaranteed that everyone will have questions, and we’re here with all the answers you need. If you are interested in further coaching in the following months, then the additional cost will be…hmm…about bucks a month!

If you click on this link, it will take you to my blog which has more info about “The Jump Manual”: www.ultimatejumpmanual.blogspot.com

          ]]>

Here are some Testimonials from some of our clients, and they are all verifiable:

“I recommend the Jump Manual to any athlete who is serious about maximizing their quickness and vertical explosion. I have seen the program work time and time again. It’s an intense regimen but there are tremendous gains to be had.” – Brandon Peterson, Former Strength and Conditioning Coach from Utah Valley University.

“I tried everything man! Air Alert, Strength Shoes, plyos you name it, I tried it. Your program made sense and I gave it a shot. I gained 13 inches in 12 weeks and now I can 360 dunk with 2 hands. Every time I play people always notice. I recommended to our coach that the whole team does the work-out cause’ I’m also a whole lot quicker. Seriously… Thanks!” – Wayne, Kansas City, Missouri

“What I was most surprised about the training program was how little time it took each day to get those kinds of results. 2 weeks after doing the training I was jumping higher. I was quicker and dunking easily. My training will never be the same and I would recommend without hesitation to all my team mates. Thanks again.” – Stephen W, Ontario, Canada

Jacob Hiller attacks every facet of the vertical jump. No other program combines every aspect of vertical explosion training into one simple and comprehensive guide. The vast majority of “other” programs simply isolates one training method and consequently misses out on the enormous benefit of a comprehensive multi-faceted training approach. When we address every aspect possible, then of course we’ll conclude that your vertical will increase to AT LEAST 10 INCHES WITHIN THE FIRST 12 WEEKS!

Once again, here is the link to the blog if you would like to find out more about the program: www.ultimatejumpmanual.blogspot.com

In the blog there are some testimonial videos and extra info about the Manual and trainer; Jacob Hiller.

Jump Manual may be of terrific aid in improving your vertical leap. It’s got grow to be fairly well-known on the internet. Why does Jump Manual have so quite a few enthusiasts? Study on to locate out how it obtained marketplace share and won the hearts of so many individuals.
The most essential characteristic is the writer and creator of Jump Manual, Jacob Hiller.

He is really a coach and trainer. We needn’t point out his several athletic successes and how a number of athletes knowledgeable a turnaround in their careers immediately after working with him. In his position as a coach, w he has accumulated loads of valuable experience. Throughout his professional lifestyle as a coach, he generally encountered many different issues in improving leap height. He took what he discovered from coaching athletes and compiled it inside the Jump Manual, which he’s now willing to share with you.

          ]]>

Mainly to small forward position, but more because my body strong, so passers-war general guest center, hey I was in high school when depressed ah, my jump was not particularly high, but I feel relatively strong position of consciousness more well, it is still very sharp rebound down, but to the university to die, a lot of jump higher than me,

So I wanted to approach, with a university professor to learn ah, he is a graduate of the North body, he told me, very simple beginning can not weight-bearing, contact on the line in the quarters and legs together, stand a good lift heel sole, so over and over so that the foot and Achilles tendon are very acid, to adhere to live for some time, you can load exercise, weight on one leg after a period of time can you jump very high suspicion useful.

The nutrition part will be the other function that attracts many people. It really is rare to determine dietary coaching as part of vertical leap development system, but in Jump Manual, nutrition is of critical importance. Diet plays an significant role in enhancing an athlete’s overall performance in competing matches and growing their vertical leap. Without having the proper nutrients, your physique has no hope in attaining your objective and beating out your rivals. In the manual, Hiller describes in detail how you can offer a balanced diet.?

In conclusion, Jacob Hiller’s experience has laid a firm basis for your Jump Manual. His 10 a long time of coaching experience have verified the usefulness of those approaches time and again. These, combined with the best diet plan, will propel you to heights you in no way dreamed!

How to Increase Your Vertical Jump

One of the fundamental measures of a great athlete in almost any team sport these days is the height of their vertical jump. In some sports, it’s an obvious necessity – basketball, volleyball, or the high jump. But in many other sports, the vertical jump of a competitor is measured and often relates directly to their success in the sport. In football for instance, the vertical of a player is often considered a real indicator of a players true athleticism and willingness to work. Increasing your vertical can be a huge advantage in any sport, but how do you do it? Here are a couple ideas to get you started.

At the highest level of volleyball (and I’m sure this may be true in sports like basketball as well), an athlete may not receive a personal tryout or even a close look unless they can touch 12 feet. Regardless of a person’s height, 12 feet is a long ways away, often requiring a vertical of 40+ inches. If you’re not familiar with an average vertical leap, it ranges from 20 to 25 inches, so getting to the mid-40s or even close to 50 is a pipe dream for a lot of people and certainly there is some genetics involved, but if you want to increase yours, even a little, you can start in the weight room, plyometrics (jump training), and with your nutrition.

As is true with any skill, you get better at jumping the more you jump. That may sound silly to say, but what encapsulates most jump training programs is a saturation of jumping. This often includes jumping on high boxes or sprinting stairs. Frequently this training will also include activities that emphasize the growth of what are known as “fast-twitch muscle fibers.” These are the muscle fibers in your calves and legs that fire quickly for greater explosion in sports, one of the defining characteristics of a high jumper – explosive. Jump training combined with strength training in the weight room can offer you a balanced and very productive workout if you have a goal of jumping higher. Squats, dead lifts, clean and jerks, calf raises, and leg curls will all help strengthen your legs and in combination with other training activities will greatly increase your vertical.

In the middle of all this work though, don’t forget your nutrition. If your diet is lacking in any nutrients or vitamins, very often items like protein and calcium, your goals may be on the hard track of being reached. Supplementing your diet with whey protein in a shake or multivitamins in a pill is common practice for most elite athletes. A balanced diet that emphasizes a healthy nutrition is often improved as more attention is placed on things like essential fatty acids, multivitamins,, protein, and other minerals. Great athletes understand that the time they spend in the gym is only half the work they need to do to realize their goals. What happens with your nutrition is often the make or break in determining how far you go.
